Dr. Denish Patel is a General Surgeon trained at University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas where he learned a holistic approach to medicine. He grew up in the Garland/Sachse area and attended North Garland High School. He decided in his early medical career that he would like to serve the Fort Worth area.
Dr. Patel stayed locally and completed his residency training in general surgery at Medical City Fort Worth in Fort Worth, TX. During his surgical residency, he was also trained at Memorial Hermann Hospital Trauma center in Houston, TX and Medical City Plano trauma center.
Following successful completion of General Surgery training, Dr. Patel went on to practice as a General Surgeon and an Acute care Surgeon at the Medical City Fort Worth in Fort Worth, TX. To serve the local medical community, he takes part in General Surgery residency by teaching future general surgeons as an attending at Medical City Fort Worth. Dr. Patel currently practices general surgery, acute care surgery, laparoscopic surgery, minimally invasive robotic surgery, bariatric surgery, and trauma.
